Interviews are one of the primary tools for getting patents issued quickly. There is no substitute for sitting down with an Examiner and a primary (or SPE), where we can actually point to text or Figures in the references which show the weaknesses in a ststed rejection. At the same time, this allows us to address an odd claim interpretation head-on, and to see whether an expert Declaration is needed.

We encourage our attorneys to conduct live and phone interviews with the Examiners.  We find that they not only accelerate prosecution but also reduce cost.  We do not normally charge our clients for travel expenses.
